About Seth and Ray’s blog

During our years at Temple University, we (Seth Embry and Raysean Hogan) constantly discussed and often debated a variety of circumstances that would present themselves each day. As student leaders on campus, we would often include other students on our various debates which would sometimes reach the zenith of intellectual stimulation and at other times wallow in the pits of foolishness. Either way, the conversations we had were very interesting. Following graduation we continued the discussions, even as we live on opposite coasts of the U.S. Contemplating ways to export these conversations for the benefit of many, we followed a natural progression that led us to publish these thoughts in the form of a blog.

Thus Seth and Ray’s Blog was created in order to continue these conversations and share our thoughts with the world. Our goal is to get you to think about life, and all that comes with it, and spark a conversation between people from all backgrounds and beliefs. Our focus is sharing our ideas to make you more informed, and listening to your ideas to become smarter ourselves.

We hope that from reading our blog, you get a simple, common sense view on seemingly complex issues that exist in the world. And that’s why we call it Seth and Ray’s Blog. No allegiance to ideologies, dogmas, or partisan points of view: only reason and logic.
