Ray: Get smart #3 is all about vocabulary. A great vocabulary will help anyone become a more effective communicator. Try to use these words throughout the week:

10. Inundateto flood; cover or overspread; deluge.

9. Egregiousextraordinary in some bad way; glaring; flagrant: an egregious mistake; an egregious liar.

8. Coyartfully or affectedly shy or reserved; slyly hesitant; coquettish.

7. Reprobatea depraved, unprincipled, or wicked person: a drunken reprobate. (Note: My grandmother likes to tell me that I have a reprobate mind. lol.)

6. Capricioussubject to, led by, or indicative of caprice or whim; erratic: He’s such a capricious boss I never know how he’ll react.

5. Matriculateto enroll in a college or university as a candidate for a degree.

4. Auspiciouspromising success; propitious; opportune; favorable: an auspicious occasion.

3. Vociferouscrying out noisily; clamorous.

2. Proliferateto grow or produce by multiplication of parts, as in budding or cell division, or by procreation.

1. Insolence (one of my favorites) – contemptuously rude or impertinent behavior or speech. I don’t like your rude attitude and frankly, I don’t have time for such insolence.

Write em down, and check em off as you use them. Your friends will marvel at your new vocabulary and will think you’re smart in no time. Just tell them you owe it all to Seth and Ray. Good luck.
