Seth: As I type this, the DNC Rules and Bylaws Committee is meeting to determine the fate of Florida and Michigan’s delegates for nomination of the presidential candidate. The petitioner arguing for Florida’s delegates seems to have argued solely for the full seating of Florida’s superdelegates based upon the DNC charter rule that created this class of delegates. To many people, these proceedings are only a great cure for insomnia. I think they are interesting. Instead of petty and irrational bickering, it’s actually an intelligent debate on DNC rules.

The Committee met last night for 5 hours in a closed-door meeting but was unable to come to a decision. This result of today’s proceedings will be monumental in dictating the how this primary season will end. If you’re near a tv, check it out on C-Span.
