Ray: Does anyone remember this cartoon? I thought it was hilarious when it came out. In fact, it even won 3 Emmy Awards and 1 Annie Award during it’s run. The cartoon, created by the multi-talented Eddie Murphy and produced by Warner Brothers, gave a comical depiction of life in a public housing project in Detroit. After 40 episodes, it was abruptly canceled because of mounting pressure from social activists (including Spike Lee) who felt that the show was only promoting negative stereotypes. I must admit, the PJs promotes some of the most outrageous stereotypes ever, but it was funny to me…
