California’s 2008 Cell Phone Law

23 Jun

Ray:

ACCORDING TO NEW LAW THAT GOES INTO EFFECT IN CALIFORNIA JULY 1ST, 2008, YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO USE A CELL PHONE WHILE DRIVING UNLESS YOU HAVE A ‘HANDS FREE’ ADAPTER.

I went to Circuit City and they wanted $50 for a headset with a microphone for my cell phone. Having a friend in the cell phone business, I spoke with him and was able to come up with an alternative working through Office Depot.

These kits are compatible with any mobile phone and one size will fit all. I paid him $0.08 each because he bought in quantity.

We tried it with Motorola, Sprint, Verizon, Nokia and iPhone units and they worked perfectly.

Take a look at the photo and let me know if you want to order one.

The tendency is really good. All countries in Europe have same laws, hope all states of America will join our state in banning the use of mobile phones with the hands while driving.
The fine should be much more i think. Then one could even have no ability to compare the price of a hands-free and a fine.
